Tesla sets the bar for what a trustworthy & resilient charging network can be. The Commercial Charging Operations team ensures that Tesla continues to deliver the best possible charging customer experience through proactive engagement and growth of the global charging network.

The Role

The Charging Asset Manager works on the North America Commercial Charging Operations team in headquarters. This dynamic project management role will support the charging team’s business goals to improve network operation and the charging experience for our drivers. The Asset Manager will be responsible for intake, evaluation and close-out of site level issues and projects that directly impact customer experience and site host relationships. The responsibilities of this position may change over time and this role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the programs, projects and the organization.

What You’ll Do
  • KPI driven role based on time, complexity and quality of solutions for volume of concerns
  • Project manage issues, vendors and coordination of site level issues
  • Serve as the Charging business partner for site hosts and internal teams
  • Act as the first point of escalation with site hosts for questions or concerns
  • Develop and track costs against budgets for site operations and projects
  • Implement processes which support the charging team’s business goals for the operating network
  • Help create scalable, robust processes which support the charging team’s business goal
  • Key executor of plans for seasonal events throughout the network

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study preferred
  • Experience coordinating in fast-paced environments and teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with an eye for efficiency and priority
  • Motivated by KPI’s
  • Superb communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and solve before they become costly to correct
  • Highly energetic personality, with a flexible attitude towards critical tasks
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role
  • Previous experience working with real estate asset management or development is preferred but not required
  • Aptitude for system optimization for scalable solutions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
